About Partners in Hope

Short Term Missions, Long Term Ministry

Partners In Hope is a is a non-profit ministry existing to encourage, equip, and enable like-minded partners already at work within India, developing them and helping them to see their visions come to pass. Partners In Hope was actually birthed in the summer of 1996 when Cris Rhyner was first invited to join a medical team to India with Youth For Christ. Three years and 7 teams later, we incorporated, then received IRS recognition as a 501c (3) non-profit organization in Spring 2001.

Since then, Cris has led or participated on about 50 teams and we've assisted organizations in 16 states throughout India. We have implemented the two first formal Surgical Technology Training programs in India and are currently preparing other trainings.

How? We provide an opportunity for individuals to serve in and experience short-term missions. Our teams take the Good News to India using our gifts of ministry, music, medicine, and whatever skill God has given them. We work cooperatively with organizations in the US and India to serve the people of India, educating and providing medical, physical and spiritual support.

Supporting, encouraging and serving India's small community of believers by building relationships with them here in the US and overseas are our goals. We assist by sponsoring short term medical and mission teams, providing financial support, and by hosting and arranging speaking engagements for the visiting missionaries.
