Partners in Hope assists by providing financial support, sponsoring short term medical and mission teams and by hosting and arranging speaking engagements for the visiting missionaries from India.

God has given me an unexpected love for the people of India- the orphans, Bible students, lepers, doctors and patients, but an extraordinary passion for the pastors to encourage them to be able to do what He's called them to do.
Working on a mission team for Partners in Hope, I saw first hand how God is working through people to bring hope to the hopeless. (…)We had the privilege of helping with several needs at the orphanage: shampooing and cutting hair, vaccinations, art classes, object lessons, puppet shows, Bible skits, songs and playtime! I saw how the gifts of service worked in our team, each person’s gift making a place for him or her – gifts of leadership, hair cutting, hair washing, teaching, service and, of course, prayer. The greatest joy was in the children, whose faces are forever etched in my mind and heart. I’ll never forget our first impression of them as we arrived during their Sunday worship service. Three hundred fifteen children singing to Jesus at the top of their lungs! The words “precious in His sight” came to mind.
I got to experience this unique culture and I got to meet a unique part of the body of Christ.
I will never forget the passion for God that the Bible students and the pastors have, as well as the love of the orphans.
I saw God in the dedication and love of the workers both at the orphanage and at the lepers colony. And of course in the children. Their worship was the most amazing picture I’ll ever see.
These Christians are totally committed to serving Him and spreading His gospel, without regard for self.
Wow! What a spirit of joy and a committed persistence in the people there. God has laid on their hearts a great challenge.
I will always remember the Glory of God descending in the midst of 315 children worshiping God in Spirit and in Truth.
The Christians we met are so faithful to God. Among the despair, filth, poverty, their light shines for Jesus.
I see people that are willing to give up good jobs to have a ministry.
The Christians there have been filled with a spirit of outreach for their fellow countrymen. They are full of eagerness to help others, spread the Gospel and uplift one another.
One of my greatest impressions of India was the faithfulness and devotion of the Christians living there, despite facing persecution and less than great living condition.
I see the importance of enabling the nationals to reach their own people who are not saved. It’s beautiful to see the body of Christ at work.
To see the commitment of Believers in India is life changing.
God has done and is doing many things in my life. It was a first time opportunity to “get my feet wet” speaking and preaching. It was also simply a time set apart to grow in God.
I realized that God can give me strength where I am weak, if I look to Him, not to my own resources.
Seeing the devotion of other Christians has encouraged me to be more on fire for God.
Through this trip, God gave me a bigger vision of His work and encouraged me by the faith of other believers.

On behalf of the Orphanage, I would like to convey my sincerest thanks and gratitude to all of you for your visit and giving your valuable time for the boys, teaching them songs, skits and telling them about the love of God and obeying the commandments of God. We call you happy makers. You have entered into the hearts of the people who were filled with sorrow and made them happy people for God. The children we have in our orphanage and the families to whom they belonged are the families that were considered to be useless, cursed, unfortunate and defiled in the site of the Indian Community. But by our heart touching experience with them you made them the happiest people. We will never forget the great service and the kind of help you brought to our orphanage.
It has been a great week with the feeling of the team’s presence amongst our midst. I am extremely thankful to God for answering a long time prayer request. It came through the team…by people who cared sent.
Cris, I had a meaningful time with you. It is encouraging for me to know that although you are from a different country and culture, you love India as your own country.
